The Outreach & Engagement Committee will connect with the board-certified sports and performance psychiatrists, promoting the organization's goals and enhancing collaboration within the community. In addition, committee members will help create social media content to engage the community and manage communication channels.

Amanda Klass, DO is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Since joining the faculty at the University of Kansas Health System in 2016, she has actively partnered with the sports medicine department at the health system to develop her involvement as the organization's first sports psychiatrist.

Tia Konzer, DO

Tia Konzer, DO is the owner and sole physician at her private practice, Konzer Psychiatric, in Davidson, NC. She is dually Board Certified in Psychiatry and Child/Adolescent Psychiatry through both the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and the National Board of Physicians and Surgeons.

David Paulk, DO




David Paulk, DO is a practicing psychiatrist in the Athens Georgia area. He earned his medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine-Georgia Campus in Suwanee Georgia. He completed a combined residency training in Internal Medicine and Psychiatry at the University of Kansas Medical Center.

He is currently involved in the Piedmont Healthcare/University of Georgia Athletics program as a team physician. He works with athletes from many competitive levels including high school, college and professional. He is an associate professor at the Augusta University-University of Georgia Medical Partnership. He incorporates his combined training in Internal Medicine and Psychiatry experience into his patient care and educating styles. Given the complex demands of modern athletics, Dr. Paulk believes in a compassionate and holistic approach to athletes emphasizing mind and body focused care.

Ruth Baer, DO




Ruth Baer, D.O. is a board certified psychiatrist at Michigan State University where she is the Associate Chair and Medical Director of Clinical Operations. She is also the Section Director of Sports Psychiatry and serves as a clinical consultant to the MSU Division of Sports Medicine – Department of Intercollegiate Athletics.

Additionally, she provides psychiatric consultative services for several university athletic departments within the BIG10 and SEC. Her special interests include performance enhancement and return to play after injury. Prior to practicing psychiatry, Dr. Baer was a fellowship trained upper extremity orthopedic surgeon.

Roy Collins MD, MPH




Attending Sports Psychiatrist at Stanford University School of Medicine, Wu Tsai Human Performance Alliance Clinician-Scientist.

Dr. Collins is a former collegiate athlete who played football at Yale University and is currently working as a Sports Psychiatrist at Stanford University. Dr. Collins combines both his experiences as an elite athlete and as a mental health professional in his clinical practice at the intersection of mental wellness and performance.

Ifeanyi M. Olele

CEO of Genesis TMS & Wellness and Genesis Psychiatric Solutions




Dr. Ifeanyi Olele is a board-certified psychiatrist dedicated to supporting individuals with mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and ADHD. His academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology from UCLA, a Master of Science in Medical Science from Hampton University, and a medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Additionally, he acquired an MBA in Health Services Administration from St. Josephs University.

Currently, Dr. Olele is the founder and CEO of Genesis Psychiatric Solutions and Genesis TMS and Wellness. He provides a range of services, including transcranial magnetic stimulation for conditions like treatment-resistant depression and OCD. They have presence in Alexandria, Virginia, Fairfax, Virginia, and Washington D.C.
